Hera’s watchman, Argus was the giant of one hundred eyes charged with guarding the nymph Io, disguised by Zeus as a heifer to hide her from his wife. It was said that he had so many eyes that he never fully slept; always with a few eyes open to keep watch. When he was slain by Hermes, the first blood shed of the new gods, his many eyes were preserved forever by Hera in the tail of a peacock to commemorate his watch.
I like to think of some instead turned to stone; always watching and protecting the wearer from their golden sockets.

As each piece is sculpted by hand, there may be slight variations in the design of each jewel. This adds to the unique and hand crafted story of each piece.
Please note that all rings can be made specifically to size. As a guide, we have four standard sizes; S ~ 48, M ~ 52, L: ~ 6, XL ~ 60. For assistance in sizing outside of this, please contact the studio.
This ring features an Australian sapphire ‘eye’ that has been hand selected, and may range in colour from green to blue.
